ODESSA, TEXAS — Senior right fielder drove in a run for the Eastern New Mexico University softball team as the Greyhounds opened a Lone Star Conference series on Friday evening. Eastern dropped a 9-1 decision to University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

After Eastern’s at bat in the fifth, the game ended due to UTPB’s eight-run lead
