Funeral services for Kalvin Vargas, 18 months, of Portales, will be at 10:00 AM, Wed., Sept. 6, 2017 at the Portales Church of God with Pastor Don Hay officiating. Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery.
Kalvin Ciel Vargas was born Feb. 16, 2016 in Clovis to Jasmine Lucero and Julian Vargas, and passed away Wed., Aug. 30, 2017 in Portales. Kalvin was a happy little boy, that was adored by all of his family throughout his brief life here on earth.
He is survived by his mother, Jasmine Lucero and his father, Julian Vargas; his paternal grandparents, Martin Vargas and Gloria Vargas; his maternal grandparents, Sandy and Douglas Lucero; his maternal great-grandparents, Tommy and Dollie Salas and Diego and Sylvia Lucero; and his uncles, Joe Lucero, Jerry Vargas, Joshua Vargas and Kevin Vargas all of Portales. He was preceded in death by an uncle Martin Vargas, Jr.
