Who:              Hundreds of Native American and Indigenous peoples from throughout North America and the world come together to compete, showcase and sell their unique pieces of art and expertly handcrafted goods.

 

What:            The Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial will host a Juried Art Show beginning on August 10 showcasing works of art that have been entered, and are for sale, in the show and will be competing for $100,000 in cash prizes. An opening night wine gala will be held on August 10, at Red Rock Park, with hand selected wines and performances from the Silver Country Band.  The Juried Art Show will take place each day through August 14.

 

A Virtual Artisans Market will open on August 4 and will close on August 14.  The virtual market will feature painters, beaders, silver stampers, weavers, carvers, potters, jewelry, wall décor, handmade soaps and a variety of other products and handcrafted goods.

 

Why:              The Intertribal Ceremonial Office (ICO), Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Association, Inc. (GITICA), and the City of Gallup will host the 100th anniversary Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial event. As part of New Mexico’s longest running and historic events, the art show will highlight the rich culture, history, and art style of Native American and Indigenous peoples.

  • Wednesday, August 10 between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 11 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Friday, August 12 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 13 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 14 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
