Once the dry wall is done and all the fixtures are installed, what is this going to be? Julie says, “The Courthouse Café will be serving breakfast and lunch plus The Sweet Cakes Bakery will still be going on, and the arcade for the kids and the adults. We will also have a seating area that we will call The Knitters Lounge that will be set up like a living room. That will allow a comfortable place for our crafters to gather and work on their projects. They will also have groups that will meet there for instance the ENMU Chess Club said they wanted to meet in the Lounge area.
One of the original walls with exposed brick was discovered during the remodel along with a very old picture of J.C. Penny that used to hang in the store years ago when it was J.C. Penny retail store. It is really looking fun with an old meets new vibe going on. We are loving it. Julie hopes that people will use them to come by work on projects and have a nice cup of coffee” So to sum it up there will be the Courthouse Café, Arcade and Knitters Lounge. Julie and Mary estimate about 2 weeks to be open. What fun for downtown!
