Successfully completing RAP in 2022

 

SANTA FE, NM – New Mexico Counties recognized nine counties with a 2022 Risk Awareness Program (RAP) Award during the 2023 NMC Legislative Conference on January 19, 2023. The RAP is a workplace risk control educational program that aims to reduce the frequency and severity of county claims through better risk awareness and safety practices. Twenty counties currently participate in the RAP.

Grant County – For successfully completing year 4 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 72%, auto claims by 71%, and law enforcement claims by 100%

Hidalgo County – For successfully completing year 8 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 61%, had no increase in multi-line claims, and law enforcement claims by 100%

Roosevelt County – For successfully completing year 9 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 25% and auto claims by 56%

Sandoval County – For successfully completing year 8 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 17% and law enforcement claims by 56%

Socorro County – For Successfully completing year 5 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 35% and auto claims by 56%

Taos County – For Successfully completing year 12 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing auto claims by 40%

Valencia County – For Successfully completing year 12 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 12%, multi-line claims by 67%, and auto claims by 13%

Curry County – For successfully completing year 11 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 11%, auto claims by 34%, and law enforcement claims by 46%

Luna County – For Successfully completing year 12 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 49% and law enforcement claims by 56%
