Public Service Announcement
The Portales Police Department Animal Control Center is currently being moved to another
location! At this time, we ask that if anyone has any inquiries about animals currently being housed at
the shelter, to contact Portales Dispatch Center at 575-356-4404 to set up an appointment.
Also, a reminder that all adoption fees are being waived at this time. Unfortunately, due to The Shelter being at Maximum Capacity, we are not taking ownership surrenders currently.
