ALAMOSA, COLO — Yuri Nascimiento made seven saves and held Adams State scoreless for nearly 70 minutes in Thursday’s season opener for the Eastern New Mexico University men’s soccer team (0-1). The Grizzlies (1-0) struck for the game’s only goal at the 69:09 mark which came from Carlos Castro.
Adams State held a 17-13 edge in total shots for the game.
The Eastern New Mexico University men’s soccer team will return to action on Saturday, to face Southern Nazarene.
