Motions Hearing on Aug. 23 in Civil Case Regarding ‘Rust’ Movie Set Case

A motions hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. MDT in a civil lawsuit regarding the ‘Rust’ movie set shooting. The case is Ross Addiego, et. al., v. Alexander R. Baldwin, III, et. al., D-101-CV-2023-00427.

The First Judicial District Court will consider a motion by Mr. Baldwin and El Dorado Pictures to dismiss the lawsuit and a motion by Mr. Baldwin to stay the civil action pending resolution of criminal proceedings.

The hearing will be live streamed on the New Mexico Courts YouTube channel. Members of the press have permission to record, broadcast and/or stream the YouTube feed of the proceeding.
