Molly Ann Craig was born Sept. 24, 1964, in Pensacola, FL to the home of Patricia (Virciglio) and Ted Everidge, and died at her home in Portales, early on the morning of Sept. 1, 2022.  Molly grew up in New Orleans until the age of 19, when she came to Portales.  While working as a server at the Portales Inn, she became acquainted with Sherman Kent, and the couple married in June of 1984.  During the time they were married, they owned and operated the Sands Restaurant for a period of time.  the divorced in 1995, having had two children together.  In 2005, Molly moved to St. Joe, FL where she attended a community college,studying Education courses, and cared for her father until his death.  In 2017, she moved back to Portales to be closer to her children and grandchildren.  Spending time with all of them was the most important thing in her life.  For relaxation, Molly enjoyed doing small craft projects like making sun catchers out of beads.

She is survived by her son, Josh Kent and her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Sean Rowland all of Portales; and six grandchildren, Emilee, Bailee, Natalee, Ty, Jason and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her parents.
