The Portales Rams Baseball team traveled to Moriarty for a double-header on March 26. The first game was at 3, and the Rams completely dominated the game. Portales held Moriarty to only 2 runs the entire game. The Rams held them to a shut out, except for 2 runs in the 5th inning. Portales dominated every inning, scoring at least 1 run except in the 2nd. The final score of the first game was 15-2 in Portales’ favor.
The second game followed at 5pm, and the Rams had slightly different results. Moriarty was able to make a comeback against their opponent, and held the Portales to a single run game. The final score of the 2nd game was 7-1, with Portales losing.
Rams Baseball is now 4-3 this season.
