Eastern New Mexico University Head Football Coach has announced the addition of outside linebacker Josh Miller (6-2, 225, Feather River College/Stevenson HS/N. Bonneville, Wash.) for the upcoming season. Miller joins an outstanding recruiting class and should make in impact with a group of returners which reached the postseason in each of the last two seasons.
“Josh is a very strong and physical linebacker who can really run,” Lee said. He was a two-year starter at Feather River College, where he recorded over 100 tackles. On top of that, Josh maintained an outstanding grade point average at Feather River, and earned a spot on the Dean’s List for both of the years that he attended. We think that these traits make Josh one of the true gems in this year’s signing class. His strength, speed, and intelligence give Josh tremendous upside, and we feel that he will fit our scheme perfectly. We can’t wait to see what he can do wearing the Green and Silver.”
For his efforts, Miller made first team all-league on offense and defense after the 2014 season. Last season, he rushed for 66 yards, which included a 53-yard sprint. Miller also registered 2.5 tackles for a loss.
