Military Personnel and First Responders to Receive Free Admission Thursday Night
Military personnel and local first responders along with their dependents will be granted free access to both Eastern New Mexico men’s and women’s basketball games on Thursday, Jan. 16th in honor of Military/First Responder Appreciation Night.
Game times are set for 5:30 p.m. for the women’s game and 7:30 p.m. for the men’s game as both squads will take on divisional rival Lubbock Christian. Valid I.D. will be required at the main entrance for individuals and their dependents seeking free admission.
The Eastern New Mexico women’s basketball team will welcome defending national champions and no. 1 nationally-ranked Lubbock Christian to Greyhound Arena for the first time as Lone Star Conference opponents. The Hounds are coming off of a 1-1 weekend and will enter this week’s action with a record of 10-4 on the season.
The Eastern New Mexico men’s team went 2-0 last weekend with divisional wins against Western New Mexico and UT Permian Basin and will look to continue their climb up the divisional standings with a key game against Lubbock Christian on Thursday night. The Hounds and the Chaps will both enter the weekend with divisional records of 2-2, setting the stage for a pivotal clash between the two squads.
