PORTALES, NM — Freshman forward Christopher Mesquita wasted little time Thursday night and took a through pass from senior Chivasiay Gallagher before staking the Eastern New Mexico University men’s soccer team to a 1-0 lead, just 2:12 into the game. Mesquita scored again with just one second left in the Heartland Conference match, as the Greyhounds posted a 2-0 win at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium.
