Daniel Franzese, who played Damian in the movie “Mean Girls,” performed at ENMU on Jan. 24. “I wanted to reach the young, brilliant minds of today and give them a little bit of laughter and sunshine,” the comedian shared.
Online Nursing Student Wants to Develop a Community Wellness Center
“Since adolescence, I have had a passion for helping people reach their health and wellness goals,” says Brandy Price. “I have an entrepreneurial mindset and could someday see myself developing a community wellness center that offers preventative and integrative treatments.”
Norvil Howell had a long career as a band director in Clovis.
“He is a music educator of the highest order; admired and respected by all lucky enough to know him. In short, Mr. Howell is a New Mexico treasure,” says Dustin Seifert, ENMU band director.
The ENMU community is saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Jo Nell Brooks on Jan. 31, 2018. Dr. Brooks was the dean of women at ENMU from 1967-1974. Then, after two years as dean of Student Development, she became dean of Career Development and Placement Services where she served until her retirement in 1989. In addition to all of her academic positions, Dr. Brooks served on the ENMU Foundation Board of Directors and received the “Distinguished Emerita Faculty Award” in 2012. Please join us in expressing sympathy to Jo Nell’s family.
