Mavis Eloise Ewing Boyd, 98, of Portales, was born on February 8, 1921, in Rio Vista, Texas, to the home of Ora Lee (Price) and William Morticai Jackson Ewing and passed away on August 24, 2019, in Portales, New Mexico.
Eloise Boyd was a wonderful Christian woman. She had a very positive and encouraging spirit. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Eloise is survived by her son, Richard Reece Boyd and wife Sharon; her daughters, Linda Morrow and Diane Winkler and husband Dan; eleven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Boyd, her parents, a son-in-law, Jim Morrow, and five siblings.
