CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – An F-35 Lightning II from the 56th Fighter Wing based out of Luke Air Force will fly over the Cities of Clovis and Portales on Friday, April 21 around 10:30 a.m. MST. The F-35 will be on static display for the public to see up close during Wings Over Cannon, an airshow at Cannon Air Force Base scheduled for Saturday, April 22.

People can expect a lot of noise also known as the “Sound of Freedom” as the F-35 Lightning II flies over!

The F-35 is a fifth-generation fighter that features advanced stealth, sensor fusion and logistics support capabilities that provide increased survivability in an advanced threat environment.
