Notice from Public Works Director John DeSha:
The City of Portales is currently renovating the water storage tanks and we need your help. On Monday 7/15/19, Tuesday 7/16/19, and Wednesday 7/17/19, we will turn off the wellfield to allow the contractors to work. We do not expect any water outages; however, we ask that you restrict your water use to essentials only during these days.
Please do not wash laundry, water yards, wash cars, or fill pools. We expect three (3) additional times that we may need to ask for your continued help over the coming months to complete the project. This is an important project for you as a citizen of the community of Portales. We could not complete the project without your help. For additional information, please call 575.356.6662, option 5.
