Once the Thanksgiving table is cleared, for many, it means Christmas has begun. The lights are strung along the rooftops of houses. Christmas songs take over radio stations. Shopping discounts begin as does the chaos. But, in the midst of the busy season, there is a joy that reminds you of the nostalgia of childhood. And if you’re a parent, santa and elf on the shelf are at the forefront of your holiday happenings!
With Jolly Old Saint Nick awaiting the many letters sent each year, we thought we would do our part at The Roosevelt Review to help him with the mail delivery! If you have a child who believes in the spirit of the Kris Kringle, then be sure they send him a letter. To where you may ask though? The North Pole, via a VERY special mailbox awaiting your child’s sealed letter. The Roosevelt Review has a North Pole Express Mailbox sitting inside Sweetwater’s at Landall’s for your child to drop off their handwritten letter. Sweetwater’s at Landall’s is located at 421 S Avenue C Ste. G in Portales.
Santa wants to hear from your kiddos, so please participate this year! Be sure to get the letters written and dropped off to the North Pole Express Mailbox at Sweetwater’s at Landall’s as soon as possible! We don’t want any little one to miss out on the joy of writing Santa a letter!
If you’d like a pre-made letter to fill-in with your child, please click HERE and print this one we made for you.
We cannot wait to see what the kids of Roosevelt County have to say to Santa Claus!
The mailbox will be at Landall’s (421 S Avenue C) from December 3 – December 15, 2019. Letters to Santa will be accepted until then. The letters will be published in The Roosevelt Review the weekend before Christmas (first names only, of course).
And while you’re at Landall’s, try one of their tasty homemade treats, ice cream or a hot chocolate! There’s nothing more heartwarming than dropping off your letter to Santa and getting a yummy holiday treat at the same time!
We look forward to having you participate!
