The Lady Rams hosted Lovington for a conference basketball game on April 20, 2021. Tip was at 7 PM and Lovington got the ball first. Portales quickly stopped Lovington and were the first to add points to the scoreboard.
The Lady Rams had a big run against the Lady Wildcats in the first period and were up 27-5 going into the 2nd period. By halftime, after holding Lovington to a scoreless period, Portales was up 38-5.
By the end of 3, the Lady Rams had held Lovington to another scoreless period and Portales was up 52-5.
Lovington did manage a few points in the 4th, but the deficit was so incredibly large, and Portales won the game 64-14. The Lady Rams are now 5-1 this season.
Their next game will be facing Goddard in Portales on April 23 at 7 PM.
