With only 6 losses, the girls went into their January 24th game against host team, 6A Clovis, looking to add another win to their record. By half, Portales had solidified a decent lead over Clovis. After halftime, the Lady Cats came out looking to overcome their deficit, but the Lady Rams’ strong defense, paired with a burst of points in the 4th led to a win for Portales. The final score was 53-44, and the Lady Rams are now 13-6 this season.
