The Dora Lady Coyotes hosted Clovis Christian School for a basketball game on April 8th at 7 PM for the girls’ season opener.
The Lady Eagles dominated from the first period. By half, Dora was down 22-14. The 2nd half wasn’t much better, as Clovis Christian managed to hold the Lady Coyotes and outscore them by 10 points in the 3rd. Dora held their own in the 4th, but the deficit was too much to overcome, and Clovis Christian ended up winning with a final score of 51-32.
The Lady Coyotes are now 0-1 to start their season. Their next game is against Elida in Dora on April 13 at 5:30 PM.
