GREEN BAY, Wis. – Kamal Cass, former running back for Eastern New Mexico football team has officially signed on to join the Green Bay Blizzard from the Indoor Football League for the 2019 season.
Cass joins the Blizzard after a sensational collegiate career with the Greyhounds. During his senior season in 2017, Cass earned Lone Star Conference Running Back of the Year as well as AFCA, D2Football.com, and Don Hansen All-American honors after rushing for 1448 yards on 279 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry while scoring 14 touchdowns.
During his remarkable four-year career, Cass rushed for a program record 4301 yards and scored 50 rushing touchdowns. After completing his sophomore season, Cass recorded an ENMU record 22 rushing touchdowns and carried the ball for 1514 yards.
Over the course of his collegiate career, Cass received five All-American Awards. He was named a two-time AFCA All-American, a two-time Don Hansen All-American, and was a D2Football.comAll-American. Cass was a recipient of the LSC Offensive Back of the Year twice and was a three-time All-LSC First Team selection.
Cass’ first game with the Blizzard will be at home against the Iowa Barnstormers on Feb. 24.
