SANTA FE – The Judicial Compensation Commission will hold an online meeting next week to consider possible recommendations to the 2021 Legislature concerning judicial salaries.
The meeting will be live streamed on the New Mexico Courts YouTube page.

DATE: Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The independent six-member commission is required by state law to annually recommend a judicial pay plan to the Legislative Finance Committee and the Department of Finance and Administration.
The commission is chaired by Sergio Pareja, dean of the University of New Mexico School of Law. Other members are Kathleen “Kay” Marr, former secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration; Deborah Seligman, Santa Fe; and Tina Cruz, president of the State Bar of New Mexico. Two commission positions are vacant.
