Eastern New Mexico University Athletic Director Dr. Greg Waggoner has announced that as of today the 2017-18 Greyhound Club membership drive and season ticket sales for football and volleyball has begun. The football team will open at home against NCAA tournament participant Southwest Baptist on Thursday, August 31, while the volleyball team opens its home schedule against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday, September 15th.
Anyone who was a 2016-17 Greyhound Club member will have first choice in renewing their seats and purchasing season tickets. This first right of renewal is extended through August 1, 2017. After that date, club membership and season ticket purchases will be open. We encourage everyone to join Greyhound Club and purchase season tickets no later than mid-August. Waggoner and Athletic Marketing Intern Johna McClelland will be contacting corporate partners to renew.

The Hounds are coming off one of their best years in recent memory, so help us keep the momentum going. The football, volleyball, and women’s basketball teams reached the postseason, while a member of the rodeo squad won a national crown. The baseball team had a historic season, while a cross-country runner won the region and track & field experienced its highest level of national success during the NCAA era. The men’s basketball team took the season down to the final buzzer, the softball team won 20 games, while both soccer teams showed improvement. It was an exciting year for the Greyhounds.
