Thank’s to Altrusa – It looks like fall from one end of town to another! Beverly Bennett thought that with the ENMU Rodeo coming up and contestants coming to Portales, that Portales needed to be decorated up for Fall. Altrusa paid for the decorations and in one day several businesses around town were contacted to see if they wanted some fall décor going on outside their place of business. Everyone contacted said YES!
Beverly asked the ENMU Basketball girls to help decorate the town. With a trailer loaded with hay, pumpkins and scare crows the girls set about to decorating from one end of town to the other.
