With lots of excited fans in attendance, the Rams hosted Dexter for their homecoming game. With a tough season behind them, Portales was looking to add a win to their record on a night when everyone is rooting for the home team.
The game was matched evenly, but ended unfortunately for the Rams, who fell behind by just 4 points. Dexter managed to squeeze past Portales and win 25-21.
The loss was disappointing for the Rams, who are now 1-5 this season, but their sights are now set on their next game. They will face Hatch Valley High in Hatch, NM on Saturday, October 9 at 4 PM.
