CANYON, TEXAS — The Eastern New Mexico University outdoor track & field teams concluded the regular season on Sunday afternoon, at West Texas A&M’s Last Chance Meet. Jacques Hall paced the Greyhound effort with provisionally qualifying marks to the NCAA Division II Championships in the 100 and 200m dashes.
Hall placed fourth in the 200m dash with a season-best time of 21.34. He also posted his best time of the year in the 100m and crossed the finish line at 10.43, to place second.
Abbey Kepfer placed fifth in the high jump, with a leap of 5′-4.17″. Dominique Zamora finished the 100 and 200m dashes with times of 12.26 and 26.68 respectively, while Abby Kepfer finished the 1,500m run at 5:05.57.
Kenneth Lloyd took second in the men’s high jump, with a leap of 6′-4.77″, while Travonne Armstead took sixth in the 100m dash at 10.68. Ivar Moinat posted a time of 1:55.20 in the 800m run.
The Eastern New Mexico University outdoor track & field team will await this Tuesday’s announcement of the qualifying field for the NCAA Championship Meet.
