PORTALES, NM – The 2017 season has been a strong one for the Eastern New Mexico University football team. Their 8-1 start has earned national recognition and a spot in the NCAA Division II Super Region Four poll.
After falling to tenth last week, the Greyhounds have moved back to ninth. Eastern is joined in the poll this week by Midwestern State (3rd) and Texas A&M-Commerce (7th).
The Eastern New Mexico University football team will return to action on Saturday night, to host Texas A&M-Kingsville. The game is sponsored by Big Valley Auto and will kick off at 7:05 p.m. The pre-game Dawg Walk will take place at 5:40 p.m.
The contest will be streamed live by ESPN 3 and viewable on WatchESPN or the ESPN app. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $10 per person and can be purchased through the ENMU Athletic Department by calling 575.562.2153 or visiting Greyhound Arena. Military members, their dependents and ENMU students get in for free with a valid ID.
