Game Recap: Women’s Soccer | | Nicolle Holcomb
Katey Stice’s two-goal performance led the Eastern New Mexico women’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Colorado State University Pueblo in Thursday’s season opener. The contest marked the first for the Greyhounds since the end of the 2019 season and was also first-time head coach, Abbey Barnum‘s, first career win.
Stice broke open the scoring just over ten minutes into the second half and then quickly scored her second of the game ten minutes later to give the Hounds a 2-0 edge.
Excellent defensive presence from the ENMU back line and goalkeeper, Whitney Dockweiler, throughout the remainder of the game locked up the 2-0 victory for the Greyhounds.
