LAREDO, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico women’s soccer team fell, 3-2, on overtime to Texas A&M International University Saturday afternoon.
The Greyhounds found the back of the net first to take a 1-0 lead on a tally from Katey Stice in the 37th minute of play.
Stice quickly scored again less than two minutes later to give her team the 2-0 advantage.
In the second half, the Dustdevils got their offense going, with goals from Krysan St. Louis in the 55th and 62nd minutes to tie the game at 2-2.
Neither team could find the go-ahead goal in regulation, so play continued into overtime.
With less than one minute left in the overtime period, Texas A&M International’s St. Louis scored to give the Dustdevils the close 3-2 victory.

- Tori Galindo was credited with the assist on Stice’s second goal of the contest.
- Whitney Dockweiler recorded three saves in net for the Hounds.
