PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University men’s track and field team moved back into the top 25 in the weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll. This week, the Hounds ranked 22nd. Most recently, the Greyhounds had a strong performance at last weeks Abilene Christian Oliver Jackson Twilight Meet.
Marcus Parker leads the charge and leads the nation in the 200m dash, and is second in the 100m dash. Kenneth Lloyd is currently is tied for 13th in the country in the high jump. The Hounds are joined by four Lone Star Conference teams in the top 20. Texas A&M-Kingsville ranks second, Texas A&M-Commerce is third, Angelo State is sixth, and West Texas A&M seventh.
The Eastern New Mexico University track & field team will be in action this week at the Lone Star Conference Championships.
