After a strong start to the season, the Eastern New Mexico University men’s indoor track & field team has earned some national attention. On Tuesday, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association released its poll, and the Hounds gained their first top-25 ranking in the history of its indoor track program.

Eastern came in 25th and is led by Marcus Parker’s NCAA Division II Championship qualifying performance in both the 60m dash and 200m dash. Kenneth Lloyd has paced ENMU in the field events. The Hounds are joined in the top-25 by three other Lone Star Conference teams.
ENMU began competing in indoor track & field in the 2012-13 academic year.

The Eastern New Mexico University track & field teams will return to action this weekend for the University of New Mexico Don Kirby Invitational.
