On Tuesday, the Hounds will host a Lone Star Conference doubleheader against cross-state rival Western New Mexico University, sponsored by Ace Hardware/Ashley Furniture. The women’s game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. MT, with the men’s game to follow at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the women’s team will host Texas Woman’s University at 6 p.m., in a contest sponsored by CenturyLink.

About the Women’s Game
The ENMU women’s basketball team has won two of its last three games, with the setback coming by nine points last Saturday to fourth-ranked Lubbock Christian. Prior to that three-game run, the Hounds fell in overtime at Texas A&M-Commerce in a hard-fought contest

ENMU is 19-5 all-time against WNMU with a 12-3 record at home. Last season the Hounds swept the season series in the Mustangs first season in the LSC. Eastern has won the last four meetings between the programs.

The Hounds are 29-22 against Texas Woman’s with a 16-8 record at home. ENMU swept the season series last year.

About the Men’s Game
The Greyhound men’s basketball team also has won two of its last three and is coming off a road win against Lubbock Christian. Last month, Eastern suffered LSC heartbreakers on the road to Texas A&M-Commerce and Tarleton State.

Since the 1959-60 season, Eastern is 31-23 against the Mustangs with a 17-5 mark at home. The Hounds have won three straight against WNMU.
