PORTALES, NM — For several years, the Hall of Honors banquet has been one of the most spectacular events on the calendar for the Eastern New Mexico University Athletic Department. This year, ENMU has taken the showcase event to a new level with the unveiling of its new Hall of Honors display in Greyhound Arena.
The project was started in 2015 to provide increased recognition to the ENMU Athletics Hall of Honor inductees. The project is now coming to full fruition.
Replacing the plaques on the south side of the arena which listed each induction class are new individualized plaques. All 195 ENMU Hall of Honors Inductees are recognized on the wall with a plaque which includes the 10 inaugural inductees through the five which will be inducted in September.
