Kaylee Edgemon’s potential game-tying three-point attempt rattled out as time expired, as the Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball team (9-8; LSC 5-5) almost rallied from a 26-point deficit against the region’s sixth-ranked team. Junior guard Brandi Gomez came off the bench and sparked the Greyhounds’ comeback attempt with a career-high 24 point effort, before Angelo State (12-4; LSC 7-3) held on for a 62-59 win in Lone Star Conference action at Greyhound Arena.
