Glover Has Strong Performance in Setback to #21 Chico State 2/2/2018 | Softball

LAS VEGAS, NEV – Right fielder Samantha Glover registered a two-for-two performance as the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (0-2) continued play at the Desert Stinger Tournament in Las Vegas. The Greyhounds dropped an 8-0 decision to 21^st-ranked Chico State (1-0) at Majestic Park.
In the Numbers

• Third baseman Elena Garcia singled for the Hounds in the top of the first inning
• Ashley Lopez had a two-out single in the second inning and stole second base
• Glover had base hits in the third and fifth frames
• Chico State’s Sam Mullock scattered three hits over three innings to earn the win
