Eastern New Mexico volleyball player Jasmine Gannon was recently named to the 2018 BritKare Lady Buff Classic All-Tournament team for her performance in the Greyhound’s four matches over the weekend.
Gannon received All-Tournament honors after leading all four teams with 65 kills over the four matches and averaged 3.61 kills per set, which ranks her third in the Lone Star Conference after the first weekend of action. The Clovis native recorded 10 or more kills in all four matches over the weekend, including a 21 kill performance in the opening match against Emporia State.
She posted an attack percentage of .254 and led the tournament in total kills and kills per set. Along with her contributions on offense, Gannon record a double-double with 14 digs and 15 kills in the second match against Adams State.
Gannon and the Hounds will travel to Austin, Texas for their next tournament this Thursday with matches set for Friday at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., and then on Saturday at 9 a.m.
