Floyd picked up their first win of the season on Friday afternoon, defeating Grady 40-20. Grady led 7-6 at the end of the first, but Floyd took a 12-6 halftime lead. and then went on to outscore the visitors 14-7 in the third and 14-6 in the fourth for the victory. The Broncos are 1-4 and play at Elida next Friday night. Grady is 2-5 and travels to Carrizzo next week.
Floyd’s Isaias Nieto heads up-field in the second half of Friday’s 40-20 victory over Grady. Nieto would score on the play in leading the Broncos to their first win of the season.
