Both Floyd teams traveled to Roswell to face Gateway Christian on Friday night. The girls played first and had a game that went back and forth in scoring. The two girls teams went into halftime tied, but Gateway Christian managed to come out on top at the end by 5 points. The girls’ final score was 47-42 in Gateway Christian’s favor. The Lady Broncos are now 3-8 this season.
The Floyd boys followed the girls, and were also handed a loss by Gateway. With a close score, much like the girls, the Broncos struggled to pull out a win. Gateway Christian ended up finishing the game in their favor though, leaving Floyd with another loss on their record. The final score was 43-39. The Broncos are now 3-8 this season.
