The Floyd Broncos had a double header against Melrose on April 12. The first of the 2 games was at 2pm, and ended in a 10 point difference for the 2 teams. The Broncos had an incredibly successful 1st inning, scoring 8 runs to Melrose’s 2. Floyd continued adding to their score for the remainder of the game, and held the Buffaloes to only 1 more run. The final score was 13-3, giving Floyd momentum as they headed into the 2nd game.

The Broncos managed to win the 2nd game as well, despite exhaustion from the 1st. The scores were fewer, with neither team scoring more than 2 runs in a single inning. The final score was 8-5 in Floyd’s favor. The Broncos are now 5-2 this season.
