The Floyd Broncos have had a tough season, with 5 losses on their record. They went into their Friday afternoon game against San Jon/Grady on October 18 with no wins this season, which left them and their fans fearful of another loss. The game ended in much different fashion though!

The Broncos traveled to San Jon for the game against the co-op, and within 1 quarter, Floyd was on top 22-18. The Broncos’ Ibis Melendez (# 14) scored a big touchdown run.

And other players, like Cobe Correa (#8) added to the rising score throughout the game. The Broncos held San Jon/Grady to only scoring in the first quarter. They added 38 unanswered points the remainder of the game.

The Broncos won the game 60-18, adding their first win of the season on their final game. They ended the season 1-5 and 1-2 in district.
