For the third time in the last four weeks, the Eastern New Mexico University football team (6-1; LSC 5-1) charged to a double-digit lead, but this time it was on the road. The Hounds capitalized on three turnovers to upend Tarleton State (4-3; LSC 3-2), 24-15, in Lone Star Conference action at Memorial Field.
With the win, Kelley Lee improved to 6-1 as head coach of the Greyhounds. The last ENMU head coach to win at least six of his first seven was Billy Kelly. Kelly won his first eight games in the 1982 season and finished with an 8-2-1 record.
