Remember when… your Mom use to tell you this simple truth, “pretty is as pretty does!” She was right! You have to DO a few things to yourself to keep up with the times. I mean, how many people really have you ever known that just woke up and looked great without a lick of makeup on and their hair a mess. Honestly maybe a handful but most of us are just not that lucky! Especially if your in my age group 40 and up.
But a lot of hair and makeup isn’t necessarily the best choice either, so lets compromise. I am a big eye person! Because if I don’t have something on my eyes, you can’t even see me! So lets definitely talk about lashes and brows! Lots of black mascara is the answer to almost anything. If you are fair like I am, you probably don’t do black mascara because it washes you out and looks harsh.
That’s only because you probably are doing nothing to your brows! Yes the brows frame your whole face and with brows properly shaded your whole face can have color. Hate brow pencils no worries try some powder its never to harsh. Try making the front of your brow pretty light and giving your brow the most color and shape as you move to the arch, tapering off again as you fill in your ends! Hate mascara? Try extensions you wake up with great lashes and they never smudge!
