The New Mexico Association of Commerce and Industry sent me information including the rules and guidelines for the expanded sick leave and expanded paid family leave related to the COVID-19 crisis. One of these is directed at employees and the other is for the employer. They also included a copy of the employer poster to go along with these expanded employee policies. I am forwarding these on to you here and I’ll also post links on our website as well.
Please review these rules so that you can comply if you have employees subject to these expanded leave situations. You may also wish to send the employee guidelines and/or poster out to employees by mail, email or text if your business is closed and employees are not on-site.
