The recently announced podcast is intended to give Greyhound fans an inside look into the current, past and future outlooks of each Eastern New Mexico athletic program. Coach Fridal joins Ryan Shumaker in episode two to discuss the outlook of Eastern New Mexico men’s soccer.
Coach Fridal discusses some of his favorite moments from a special 2019 season that saw the Hounds break the school record for wins in a single season with a record of 12-5-1. He also discusses a variety of impact players that stepped up in 2019 and will be back in the spring and fall of 2021 to get back on the pitch to take care of some unfinished business.
Coach Fridal also touches on how he has handled a roster full of international players and a global pandemic that has prevented the student-athletes from returning to campus since March, while preparing to take the next step for a rising program in the Lone Star Conference. Hear first hand how the Greyhounds will be attacking a shortened spring season in which a Lone Star Conference Championship is still up for grabs.
