ENMU to Celebrate Homecoming Virtually from Sept. 21-27

The Eastern New Mexico University community is invited to participate in a virtual Homecoming celebration, which will take place from Sept. 21-27.

The Fiesta-themed events include a virtual tour of campus, faculty lectures showcasing on-campus research, daily concerts from the Department of Music’s instrumental and vocal students, theatre performances of “American Voices: By and About Women” from the Department of Theatre and Digital Filmmaking, Bingo with the Chancellor, a transformative poetry workshop and a “Wine” down event with event partner Enchantment Vineyards.

Dr. Patrice Caldwell, interim chancellor of the ENMU System, says, “Although we are disappointed we cannot reconnect with our alumni in person this year, we are happy to announce a virtual homecoming ceremony that will let us connect with our alumni around the world during this difficult time. Our Alumni Association has come up with several events that showcase different areas in our University and celebrate ENMU Homecoming 2020 in a unique way.”

The Alumni Association will sponsor giveaways, including a two-night stay at the Hotel Santa Fe and a Sunday brunch and pool soak for two at Sunrise Springs in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A video highlighting ENMU alumni from around the world will be available on the ENMU Alumni Association Facebook page at facebook.com/AlumniENMU.
