PORTALES, NM -Eastern New Mexico University softball coach Katie Welborn has announced an adjustment to the schedule for this weekend’s Lone Star Conference series at Western New Mexico University. The changes were made due to forecasts of inclement weather.
Greyhound Women’s Basketball Jump to Second in South Central Poll
PORTALES, NM – After sweeping a pair of Lone Star Conference games last week, the Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball team moved up a spot to second in the latest Division II South Central Media Poll. With an 18-5 overall record and 14-2 league mark, the Greyhounds have four games left in the regular season.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS – The Eastern New Mexico University softball team (3-9) played Colorado Christian (7-5) in a neutral-site game for the third time in less than a week, and it turned out to be an epic contest. The Hounds pulled even after facing an eight-run deficit, but dropped a 9-8 decision to the Cougars in the finale of the North Texas Softball Bash. Kylee Keller batted two-for-three with a double and a pair of runs batted in.
Almog Breaks Two School Records; Provisionally Qualifies for NCAA
The Eastern New Mexico University men’s indoor track’s Omer Almog broke two program records at the Don Kirby Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Greyhound Women’s Basketball Remain in Division II National Polls
PORTALES, NM – With a two-game lead for first place in the Lone Star Conference, the Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball team (18-5; LSC 14-2) continued to receive recognition in the national polls. After sweeping a two-game home stand last week, Eastern ranked 21st in the Women’s Basketball Division II Media Poll sponsored by D2SIDA. ENMU also appeared in the receiving votes section in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association poll.

PORTALES, NM -The Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball team has received plenty of recognition in both regional and national polls for their outstanding 2016-17 season. On Wednesday, the NCAA released their first edition of the Division II Regional polls, and had the Greyhounds ranked second in the South Central Region.
Burke Homers Twice as Diamond Greyhounds Sweep New Mexico Highlands
PORTALES, NM – The Eastern New Mexico University softball team (5-9) successfully opened a week that will include five games against its cross-state NCAA Division II rivals. On Wednesday, the Greyhounds swept a doubleheader against New Mexico Highlands by 12-0 and 8-2 scores. Over the two contests, senior first baseman Erikka Burke bashed her fourth and fifth homers of the season.
