ENMU RODEO COMPETES AT FRANK PHILIPS COLLEGE RODEO

The Eastern New Mexico rodeo program traveled to the Frank Phillips College Rodeo this past weekend.

Shacie Marr posted a time of 7.7 seconds in the long round for goat tying. Marr recorded another time of 7.7 seconds in the short round, which earned sixth-place in the average.

Marr also reached the short go in barrel racing after posting 17.77 seconds in the long round. In the short round, Marr finished fourth with a time of 17.7 seconds, earning a fourth-place finish in the average.

Madelyn Schauer also advanced to the short round, after finishing the barrel racing course in 17.77 second in the long round. Schauer finished eighth in the average, after finishing with a time of 22.91 in the short round.

The rodeo team completes its fall schedule at the Texas Tech University Rodeo on October 28-30.
