PORTALES, NM. – Eastern New Mexico Athletics Department announced on 11/08/2021 a new partnership with Peak Sports MGMT to oversee multimedia rights and enhance the Eastern New Mexico Athletics marketing brand.

“Partnering with Dr. Weir and the Greyhounds is exciting” Said Ryan Holloway President of Peak Sports MGMT. 

Holloway continued “We are bought in and believe in the vision of Dr. Weir and truly feel that he is going to take ENMU to the next level. We are humbled and honored to get to play a major role in helping him achieve his vision for the Greyhounds.”

Dr. Weir was named Eastern New Mexico’s new Director of Athletics on July 19, 2021.

“This is the first partnership of its kind in our school’s history. The opportunities it presents can be a real game changer for the student-athlete experience here at Eastern,” said Dr. Weir. “We are absolutely ecstatic that Peak Sports believes in what we are capable of, and can’t wait to get to work with them to make that happen.”

Peak Sports will manage and sell all sponsorship inventory for Eastern New Mexico Athletics, including venue signage, program advertising, digital and web content, game sponsorships and special events, along with several other opportunities.

Peak Sports will also oversee and sell all ticketing inventory for Eastern New Mexico Athletics, including group sales, season ticket packages, tailgating, birthday parties, and special events, along with several other opportunities.

The agreement between Eastern New Mexico Athletics and Peak Sports, provides Eastern New Mexico Athletics with a significant financial guarantee each year and a revenue sharing amount distributed once the thresholds are met.

Peak Sports is actively searching for a General Manager of Sponsorship Sales and a Ticket Sales Manager. Both these positions will serve as full-time staff members of Eastern New Mexico Athletics who will fully integrate themselves with the university, athletic department, the Portales community and beyond.
