ENMU Announces Return-to-Campus Plan
Eastern New Mexico University has published its return-to-campus plan for the fall semester at enmu.edu/LookingForward. The phases outlined in the plan, based on recommendations from the New Mexico governor, the New Mexico Department of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Mexico Higher Education Department, will serve as a guide as the campus gradually reopens.
Phase Three, scheduled to begin in August, includes symptom monitoring, mask-wearing and physical distancing requirements. Plans for specific campus units, such as Academic Affairs and Campus Life, are also available.
Dr. Patrice Caldwell, interim chancellor of the ENMU System, says, “ENMU’s reopening plan is a work in progress, characterized by equal parts careful attention to state and federal health guidelines and Greyhound optimism. We will improve this plan as we go and anticipate welcoming back our students to a safe campus this fall.”
